pipercross cone filter

hi folks,ive got a 2007 crossfire U.K car and want to put pipercross filters on it.is this a good idea and has anyone heard of any problems when doing this?

yes pipercross are like K&N cone filters,someone told me with the extra air intake you get from cone filters it can sometimes cause flat spots,is this true?would get a K&N but cant get one in england.
