Where have Crossfires been purchased?
I now own a Black 6-speed in the land of the Green Bay Packers and cheeseheads, that's Appleton Wisconsin. The local dealer had three in stock but none were in Black or came with the manual transmission. They got the car from a dealer in Michigan.
I bought mine in Denver. They were selling it under MSRP, when other dealers where charging a premium. It looks like this dealer just displays one Crossfire at a time. When one sells, another one magically appears on the showroom floor.
I bought my SSB 6speed with graphite interior in Orange County, CA, in mid September and was told I bought the first one sold at that particular dealership. They had at least six out on the lot, and a couple of other nearby dealerships had a couple each. I've yet to see another one on the road.
In response to crossfirluv, I live in Windsor and know for a fact that a SSB one has been sold. Also a black one has been leased, and there are three other black cars at dealers here in Windsor. They have just been able to place my order for a SSB 6 Speed with Cedar interior. You should be seeing them very soon in Toronto.
I bought mine in Virginia Beach. I've had it for a month and I still haven't seen any others on the road here. That's cool because I get all the attention...
People don't even look at a Vette if I'm anywhere near. You can see several Vettes in any KMart parking lot.
We live in Cecil County Maryland and purchased our Crossfire in Wilmington, DE on 7/15/03 from Brandywine Chrysler nothing over list. We have not seen one on the road yet form Ashville S.C. to New York State. Almost 6000 miles and runs great.
We bought ours in Las Vegas. One dealer would not budge under $10K over sticker so went to another dealer. The first Crossfire our dealer sold went for $20K over!!! We got ours at MSRP, which, at the time seemed like a bargain. Sure wish we would have found this forum before we bought! Oh well - we are loving every minute of it and have only seen one other Crossfire on the road.
I just bought mine from DuPage Jeep Chrysler in Wheaton, IL. I bought a Graphite with the 6 speed standard trans and the all-season tires.
My dealer has sold 3 in total and has 2 in stock. I bought mine for sticker, although I know that I may have saved $500 by driving around for a day. But I like this dealer and I wanted to have a good relationship with a local guy.
It was not easy to find the combo I wanted. But it was worth the wait, and I'm glad that I stuck with my local guy - a real nice switch from the typical car dealer experience!

Got my auto about a month and half ago at a Santa Cruz Ca. Chysler Dealer. they told me they had sold 3 others. I was in there today getting my 3k oil change and see that they still have the same 2 other Crossfires on the lot they had when I got mine. I have not seen another one on the
road yet.
road yet.
