Great dealer story for a change
AC stopped working on the 2005 Xfire (believe it or not it's already needed here in Phoenix if you've been parked in the sun....), against my better judgement we went to the dealer.
First, I had planned to wait on it, but Paul the great service advisor, looked up the warranty and informed me I had up to $40 per day towards the Enterprise rent-a-car. OK, shouldn't take too long to get that, I said. He laughed, pointed to a guy in a white shirt, and a row of cars in sight behind him -- they are on-site!!! Took two minutes to do license paperwork, pick between a PT, Ram pickup, Cherokee SUV, 300, or Sebring (took the Sebring -- pos).
Looked my Xfire over, saw a little corrosion by the neg terminal, they offered to sell me a $15 service to clean it all up, etc. I declined, saying I was going to replace the battery soon since it was a 2005, heat here, etc.
Anyway, left hoping to get the car back without issue. Got a call a few hours later, all done, no charge for the A/C (recharged, added dye, couldn't see leaks, it had never been touch since manufactured) AND THE NEW BATTERY and new negative battery cable!!!!
So I go there, park the rental, Paul sees me and meets me, takes me to the cashier, gets the paperwork, we trade keys, he walks me a few yards to my car, gives me his card so I can email or call him directly if I need anything, and I'm gone in five minutes !!!!
All I have to do is reset the stations on the radio!!!
So, Xfire owners in Scottsdale or Phoenix area, go to Airpark Chrysler!!!!

Good story, Tazz!
Somewhere around here someone started a thread that pertains to the "good" dealers we've run across. You should add this guys name to the list

I've had decent luck with my dealer. They seem compitent enough and I've never had to take it back or complain. They look the other way with my mads too...
