Default irving gas

I have been using Irvings gas in my Crossfire ltd. I have been noticing a rotten egg smell, is it the type of fuel I use. On my old eclipse the smell was usually from my cats. I dont mean the furry kind.

I take it that you live somewhere in the North Eastern US, or the Maritime Provinces, since you are using Irving Gasoline?

I would highly recommend that you don't keep using it.

Switch to Shell, Exxon, Mobil, BP, whatever.
Irving gas is crap, and even though they sell it for cheaper than the competition, they water it down in some cases, and over oxygenate it in others.

Use something else, and your issues will most likely go away.

BC.

If you notice it while accelerating hard then it's normal. Both the Xfires will smell like this when I stomp on them regardless of the brand gas i use.

The same problem was driving me nuts. I tried every gasoline around. All of them except Shell. Shell did the trick. Texaco came close. Sulfur smell is gone. Has been for 6 months so far. I have a TVT 265 kit and a sprint booster installed. I drive my car with the pedal down hard and fast. Before it was more noticeable when I would accelerate hard. No problem now.
