Default Newbie help on suspension

I am looking at buying a Crossfire and like averything about it except the ride. It is too firm for me. Can someone tell me if the 2002 SLk springs, shocks, wheels and tiires will fit a 2004 Crossfire? I have driven them both. Prefer the looks of the Crossfire. Thanks

Easiest solution would be buy a set of 17" wheels and choose a tire with more sidewall to make up the differnence in size.

But do not judge on just a test drive - MANY dealers overinflate the tires while the cars sit on the lot - this would make a huge difference in ride comfort. Check the pressures.

I realize a higher aspect ratio tire will improve the ride but I'd hate to buy the car (private party 78 yrs old) and find out tires alone are not the solution. Does anyone know if the Slk320 and Crossfire use the same springs or does anyone have part numbers for the Xfire springs. Shock are easy to change and depending on lug pattern MB wheels may fit Xfire so I could do that.
