If you had any sense you woulda did a u turn rather than go against a Trans Am. The hood on that thing looks like a over sized hog snout and you know hogs eat anything even crossfires..lol

407 those cars even though I hate to admit are a beast. I test drove a bullit and was impressed with the throttle response but it doesnt compare to the 04 svt that my old man owns. I get chills when he leaves out the drive way at my house.

I'm actually debating picking up an 03-04 Cobra to make it a track car...that way I'll be more willing to leave my SRT6 as a DD and not track car...grrr...

now if I can only get the money I need for the build...I can buy the car right now who wants to donate the winning lottery ticket...damn i'm impatient.

Funny you guys are talkin about mustangs beacuse I was going to buy a Rousch Mustang from the same dealer that sold me my Crossfire but they sold it on me. But in the end, I love my XFIRE!!! Oh and the Crossfire was 10K cheaper with a lifetime warranty on the powertrain.

I got a $450 ticket for "running" a red light when it was yellow. The cop had to make a U turn through the intersection to get to me. How could it have been red if he made that turn?!?! As for racing, I've had many:

Last gen Camaro
BMW M3 (intresting experience)
Firebird
Volkswagon TDI
Honda Accords
Mustangs

And many others I just cant remember at this moment. I've won some, lost some. It happens. I have an 05 Limited Coupe and I hope to get her between the 265-300 hp range, that way I can win some more haha.

its not the hp that makes this car fast, its the drive train and traction control that makes this car faster then other cars. even cars with 100hp more. it the way the power gets to the wheels that count. i saw once on top gear or some show where they put a 350z and an audi tt and a crossfire on the beach to race the audi won cuz of the awd. but the crossfire and 350 were neck and neck how can this be? not to mention i made it thru last winter on 2 front all season tires, and one rear tire strictly for rain and the other rear wheel a summer tire. no wonder the srt keeps up with a viper i dont know whats in that rear differential but it must be something like and enzo ferrari where that differential makes a world of difference. at least for the first half of the race.

what im saying is that if you had a 200hp crossfire and you also had a 200hp 350z or even a 200hp rx7 and you had them race the one who has the best drive train will win. and theres not much weight difference between the 3 cars. the 350z or the rx7 does not have the same teschnology as the crossfire. in which the crossfire would win cause of how the power goes from the engine to the rear wheels. it gets more intricate. why is it an enzo ferrari and the bugati veyron have a 400hp differnece but the 0-60 times are similar? does anyone else agree with this besides nox1s.
