I just got a 2005 Crossfire 6 speed for my first car. I was wandering about mpg in the manual. Also if their are any interesting things I should know about it? What cars are good to race with? thanks!!! Also i have been driving my moms 2004 BMW 330i which had an on board computer with features and I would like to know if this had anything like that? Also in performance how does it compare to that?

Really what exactly is that color called? To me it looks like a silver blue and since i got the car used they did not say the name of the color. Anyone know the official name of it?

TBH, this car is not really quick and I wouldn't recommend racing anyone. I presume you're only 16 as well. If you do decide to race any modern sports cars.. have fun losing and getting tickets! The cops will hunt you, I should know.

 

If i do race anyone it would be on the Drag Strip near my house. It really feels fast and feels WAY faster than the 2004 bmw i am used to driving. It was a 2004 bmw 330i with a performance package and was very fast but this feels way faster. If it is not then why does it feel like that?

According Road & Track magazines roadtest results, the Crossfire Limited does everything just a little better than a BMW 330i. in every category. Including 6 mpg better "average' fuel mileage than the Bimmer, and a 20 mph better top end. (Probably due to a speed limiter).
If you know how to launch it, and know how to shift a 6 spd. it's supposed to run a 14.7 sec. 1/4 mile. I guess you can go to dragtimes.com and decide who you can beat. (just not on the street) that would be against the law. The Limited is not known for being a drag racer, (that's the SRT6) but it's more of a canyon carver. Enjoy it's great handling, brisk performance, fantastic braking and excellent fuel economy. and bask in its head turning capabilities. Good Luck

Good luck with that 30+ MPG stuff. I have K&Ns and a magnaflow exhaust (breathes better in and out) and I do not get 30+ MPG ever... and in the city, if you drive with a lead foot, expect somewhere in the 17 range realistically. Not trying to be a buzz kill, but I can expect a 16 year old with a 6 spd XF to get $hitty MPGs

 

I get about 11 mpg @ 130mph.
