Just got one!!!
Welcome to our community! You have a very special car. DaimlerChrysler only made about 83,000 Crossfires in their 5-year production run. That's fewer Mustangs than Ford sells in a single year. It's German-built (by Karmann) but the styling is all American.
If you want to drag race, you should have bought a Mustang. Crossfires are sports cars, not pony cars. They handle really well and have a very respectable top end (150+ mph). Yours will run with V-6 Mustangs and RX-8s and look better doing it. Stock SRT-6s run with Mustang GTs and Porsche Caymans. Unfortunately, the aftermarket for these cars is limited so you'll have to enjoy the car's strengths and learn to overlook its weaknesses.
Next Christmas, you should ask Santa for a Porter Cable 7424 and learn to detail the car. A gorgeous, clean, polished Crossfire will get you more attention than a good 1/4-mile time slip. Girls don't want to get in dirty cars. (Tip: don't bother with the cupholder. You'll just end up spilling soda all over the passenger seat.)
One more thing...don't drive around with the spoiler up. It's the automotive equivalent of a flipped collar. It just says "douchebag."

That sums it up - its a great ride - ENJOY
Funny a couple of winters ago my spoiler was acting up and wouldn't go down. I had to go to the drive in in the bank and I felt stupid (I guess like a ****** bag) sitting there with the spoiler up and going nowhere. At he same time there is nothing cooler than cruising down the highway and having that sucker go up. Enjoy your car!

Be safe, enjoy, it's a car you can't replace very easily (IE; don't wreck it) and will always want to drive. It is a great car, but you already know that! Congrats. Now stop smiling

I have K&Ns and a magnaflow exhaust (breathes better in and out) and I do not get 30+ MPG ever... and in the city, if you drive with a lead foot, expect somewhere in the 17 range realistically. Not trying to be a buzz kill, but I can expect a 16 year old with a 6 spd XF to get $hitty MPGs

Sorry, just answered my own question by checking your profile. It's a Manual. Strange then, because the motorway between where and live and the South East of England which is where I went is undulating, and particularly the Welsh bit, can have quite an incline. But I guess doing a return journey it all cancels itself out because what you spent going up you must save going down!
