Radio issue...
I agree on the cup holder. But they can replace the radio, and quite frankly I think it's not too much to ask. No one can see the stations even. I went shopping today for a new stereo w/ XM built in. I only found 2 that are silver that would fit in--Chysler needs to fix the radio or replace it.

Here is the sorry response I just received from DC:
Thanks for the email regarding the radio in your Chrysler Crossfire.
There are no current plans to alter the design of the radio in the
Crossfire. I have documented your concern and have passed your message
along to our engineering and quality departments. These are the areas
that review such concerns and the possible remedies for them.
Thanks again for the email.

After two e-mails here is customer service reply. The concern that you described is being investigated. However, at this time, it has been determined that this is a characteristic of the radio. please stay in touch with service dept of your chrysler dealership as if any updates become available, will we notify the dealership accordingly.... Well that makes me feel better, I guess there is no problem, I'll just turn the radio on at night or get a dark tint for the windows.
I thought the problem was only with the radio in my car. I was planning on contacting the dealer, thinking that there was something defective with the brightness of the screen during that day.
Now I find out from this forum that it the way these "great" radios are built. Why would anyone market a radio with such a dull illiminated screen?
Hopefully if enough owners complain, Chrysler will arrange to do "something" about the radio's display screen.
