Thanks. 19" and 18". Same size as stock. Different offset makes them appear wider/larger.

 

Any need for spacers and are the hubcentric?

In that second picture...did you have to slowly roll down the driveway until you got the "B" on your wheel perfectly aligned, or is that just a coincidence?

Wise guy..in a few days I will be putting new logo's on there. MB 3 star. Just ordered them. H ard to see, but like the one's on the front emblem in the photo.

 

Thanks. Probably like you and many others here I plan on doing more mod's including lowering. In fact, I was going to do that when I first joined the forum. After reading the pro's and con's it left me unsure. So I moved on. Have you had any problems. Is one manufacture better then another. I don't want to rub the front fender wells when I make a turn. Etc. I seem to recall some members had no problems while others had nothing but problems. I really like the look though. It adds to the design of the CF.

 

I read your URL. Sorry to hear you had so much trouble. I have been dealing with Tire Rack for many, many years without incident. I have professionally raced and I am quite familiar with many types of wheels for many types of applications. Road and track. I examined these wheels visually (can't x-ray them for structural problems) and found them to be built quite well.
That's not to say you didn't have an inferior pair. In fact I had 4 very expensive BBS wheels for my M3. Two of them were bad. It happens. Best to quote you. "When it goes good the process works, but when it doesn't it becomes painfully expensive and time consuming to correct. Good luck with whatever you decide." I agree.

Drop it, but drop it right with springs and shocks. I'm dropped on Eibachs and Koni adjustables with 19s and 20s. Rides better than stock and I've had no rubbing issues.

 

Where I live it is hard to find a shop willing to do anything with your car in terms of lowering. You say do it right. That's the only way I would do this. I agree on Eibachs and the Koni adjustables. Did you make any mod's to the fender wells at all. Was there anything special that I would need to know when installing these. I definately need to lower my CF now. I'm ready. Appreciate any advice.
