Eibach lowering springs. Correct info?
This was information supplied to me about eibach lowering springs from a dealer . Is this correct.
quote:
"Due to the fact that the ride height will change once the springs are installed all the settings will have to be adjusted to compensate. Not doing so will cause your steering feel to be mushy & your tires will wear noticeably within 2-3 weeks."
It was my understanding that this wasn't necessary. Thanks in advance.

I can tell you I didn't even do an alignment and I added spacers. Some will tell you they did an alignment, and that probably OK too.
No issue here.

I was under the impression, that when you changed your shocks and struts, you needed an alignment, unless you could do it by sight. But the last to cars that I modified the suspension on I did both springs, and s/s. But I'm sure there are exceptions.
