is it possible to remove that little bulb on the upper corner without removing the whole head lamp?

 

Yes you can, Maxchicon helped me out with this. If you use a long pair of hemostats (sp?) or needle nose pliers you can get them out, and once out, put some bulb grease on them and they will go in a lot easier. Yes it can be done without removing the assy. I replaced mine with amber 194s.
