Default euro looking tail light mod

every time i look at the tail lights i think about how stealthy it would look if i could make a stick on cover out of fiber-glass or some type of plastic. any thoughts?

I've never seen a European car with taillights like that.

Cheap, riced out pickup trucks, yes. European, no.

I do like the concept of making complete taillight replacements to make them look more like Porsche units (narrower and tapering down at the far ends).

the car would look better if it got rear-ended. It would be tough to improve on the taillight design.

Admittedly, I think the idea sounds horrible, but if you insist on such a mod, it's fairly easy to do. Buy a set of the darkest taillight film from a place like lamin-x, then you could just cut out circles where you have it illustrated in the pictures.

I really like our taillights; however, updating to LEDs would be perfect! Nobody makes full LED replacements for our cars though, just crappy bulbs.

Just hold off for a few months. You just posted a picture for Dan Root to steal and patten for his own profit! He'll have your idea 4 sale soon. Squirrel Crusher

I take a different view than so many others here----I want to kieep my car immaculately clean and well-maintained, but prefer to keep it completely stock. To me, that is pristine. Seems that once one starts down the mod road, there is never an end in sight.

Damn, that sure is the truth, but to me, the road is wide open with possibilities....

That's a very true statement at both views! No end either way! I've cut two large holes thru my SRT's hood. << Got this idea from Moparrbust. Now I"m getting prepped for cutting out our fenders fake side strake area. I hate fake's and most all ricer's! My other two SRT's have hardly ever seen daylight. One of them has 156 miles and has never had a smashed bug on it. LOL Squirrel Crusher

Can anyone photochop a black Xfire with redded out taillights? You know how you can buy the red out film, I'm just wondering if it'd be a cleaner look without the rev/turn signal areas so prominent.

I like the wheels, but the verdict is stillk out on the taillight mod, I like my completely smoked lenses, but my car is also black.

I can not understand why someone would debadge a car (IMO to try and make it look more simple and clean) and then add several hideous stickers and more badging above the strakes

Didn't you know... stickers completely unrelated to the car add 10hp each...

Boiler, I understand where your coming from. But since Chrysler chose that exact location to install an emblem on "certain" Crossfires, there are some owners out there who feel it's an ideal location to display their very own "Personal" emblems. The trick imo, is placing it "exactly" where you think the factory would have positioned it.
90% of the people who see our cars haven't got a clue at what they're looking at, so why not have some fun with it.
