Disaster Averted!
House was built in 2001, 3 car garage (1-16Ft + 1 8ft door), ceiling 11 ft & doors are 8ft high. So garage door openers are suspended 2-2.5 ft down from the 11 ft ceiling. When Sears installed the openers they suspended them using relatively thin metal......noticed one strap had broken....pulled Fred out .....got up there & the other metal strap had only about an 1/8 inch left before it would break also.....pulled Wilma out........same thing!!!......Jesus....that could have been a disaster!!!
