Default New guy here, picking up a XF tomorrow...quick Q?

Hey 'yall, looking to buy a '04 Crossfire 6-speed tomorrow if all goes well. One question though, coming from my current car, Scion tc, the Crossfire shifting feels a bit loose. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about? Hopefully it's just something I'll gets used to.

Hope to be here awhile

Welcome to the best forum on the net.....glad to have you join in.

The shifting is different than any other car...takes a little getting used to. After a while it will feel totally normal. First gear is really short, so be ready to shift out pretty quick.

Keep the REVS UP....(rev-match), whether you're downshifting or upshifting....it's best to not even take your foot off the gas when you upshift! & increase rpms when you downshift......

Starting out in 2nd is fine if you're not caring about rapid acceleration ....
