Winter Tires
It's been fun readings the opinions of the current X-Fire owners. I'm considering becoming one of you. Problem - Winter in Minnesota. I'm not planning on a winter beater so the X-Fire would be it. What is the best way to go - smaller wheels with snow tires? None of the cars at the Dealer have the Continentals - they all have the standard Pilots. Are the Continentals on the standard wheels the answer? I'd be interested to hear opinions.
What does everyone think of the "Aluminum" strip around the windshield? I didn't care for it with the red paint. How is it with black? Any pictures available.

There is a Graphite 6 speed with Continental tires on it at the Coon Rapids Dealer. When we bought our second Crossfire we considered having the dealer switch the tires, he said he would. But after thinking about it a little longer we took the original Michelin tires. My wife will use my Expedition on the sloppy/snow days.
With regards to the trim, we did not like it on the red or black, but think it blends in better with our Sapphire Silver and the Graphite. The Coon Rapids dealer has a black 6 speed as well as a Red auto.
