Default weight

Has anyone noticed or tested, the diffrence at the drag strip with and with out the spair tire and all its goodies. Faster times, or slower times because of no weight back there and no trac.

Dropping the spare tire isnt exactly an option, how about some SPARCO race seats.

everytime I race it's without the spare and as far as I know most of the forum does the same thing. It really helps a lot I've dropped my 1/4 mile times by almost a full half second, but I have a series A spare there is also a series B that weighs half as much and it's pretty rare so you should check to see which you have.

My other crossfire has a spare - you can barely see it in this picture but it's there, back behind the gas cans... (see picture below)

When I remove it, the front end stays on the ground a lot better...

Thanks for the reminder. I'm going outside right now to check my SRT-6 spare tire pressure. Should I take a tire gauge? Squirrel Crusher

the spare has a built in gauge remember, you just have to make sure the battery is charged, but even if you don't use the gauge it has the tpms sensors so the dash light will come on.

Be sure to drain the blinker fluid to save on weight.

So I suppose it's not in good taste to share the technique for changing the spark plugs on cylinders 7 and 8, or how to access the back seat?
