mechanics in houston tx
I used River Oaks Chrysler (Helfman) on Kirby for oil leak on left head gasket. They fixed it and no scratches on my car. Good luck
My XF is an 04 and out of warrenty.. I have a great mechanic on the SW side of town by my office... SALAH Auto Repair..713-977-5313. They work on mainly foriegn cars and I have trusted him with my XF, a 3000GT VR4 and M3... GREAT MECHANIC...

ill give a call on monday!
Well here I go again bumping up an old thread
I'm about to graduate pilot training in Del Rio, TX, where I have been less than happy with the work done on my car by the local dealer in the past two years. Leaving here in the near future, I will be driving through Houston on my way to the new assignment in South Carolina. The plan is to stop in Houston for a day to get a complete inspection of the car, as I have neglected all regular service inspections (with the exception of oil changes and battery change) for the last 17,000 miles. I would prefer not to take it to a dealership, for many reasons discussed on this forum. I looked up Salah's Auto Repair listed above, and all his reviews look solid. I know that Motorwerks, where Jerry also runs his dyno, is also in Houston. Can anyone recommend any other options for quality "Crossfire Care" in Houston other than the two I've mentioned?

Also, FYI Jerry and Eurocharged have moved out of Motorwerks and have their own facility on the west side of Houston. Much nicer, but only for tuning, no mechanics there.
whatever you do dont let zahanmamotors work on your car!! :} try motorwerks they have a great reputation. matt was great meeting you and the dinner was awesome!
Great meeting you too Steve, and thanks for dinner. However, kiss my a** about the first comment.
The C-17 Globemaster. I'll give Motorwerks a call. Would Salah's do a solid Service B inspection vs. a dealership? I'm looking at changing out one or two noisy pulleys (bearings) as well.
