:shock: I have a stock crossfire and i was out for a cruse to show off my fire so i jump on to show off the power! and i look in my review, and see a big black car coming up on me so the first thing i thought was marauder so i slowed down so the stop light would catch me it did the car pulled up next to me and i still thought it was a marauder the light turned green i saw it take off and the front tires started spining and i thought marauder are RWD so were off and we were very close his hood was to my door clear up to 85 then he started creeping up on me then past me i kept going and the faster i went the more room he made i did 137 than slowed down he had to be doing 145 or so i was like O-MY-GODDDDDDD a few miles up the road he was at a gas pump so i stopet and talket beleave it or not it was a 2001 lincoln continental he has it lightly moded he has K&N, superchip miro tunner, exhaust,lowerd with 18s . but i couldent beleave that he beat me but he did NO LIE!!! how fast are 2001 lincoln continentals? sorry about my grammer im in a hurry!

 

I don't know how fast they are, but the Crossfire isn't THAT fast of a car stock, so it's very possible he beat you...

 

Good thing he didn't go around a corner! If you put the stage 1 RennTech Flash on your ECU, you wont lose the next race. Be careful!

 

At 137mph+ for both of you, you BOTH should be glad you didn't come up on a corner, or another car, or a pedestrian, or a deer, or a piece of tire off a tractor trailer, or a slick spot,....or a cop.

 

Yeah. The Lincolns have more power than pople think. The older model Cutlass did too. A friend had one with duals. They don't make them like that anymore. Look it up. The xfire isn't that fast true, but those older cars have power over alot of vehicles.

Just because you see grandpa in those cars don't think he can 't whip you on the road.
