Can the A/C system be reset? 2nd time I will fix this problem!
I had the same problem a few years ago and the dealership fixed it. Now it is happening again. I have the warranty but I would like to fix it on my own.
The AC fan blower speed switch is confused. On level one it is blowing at level 2. When I turn the vent on the AC is blowing at level one. And level zero is the vent when it should have the whole thing closed up.
When I had it turned on the vent, the AC was running and the red AC light kept flickering almost like it new it shouldn't have been on. As I said before, I had this problem a long time ago and the dealer fixed it. I would like to avoid bringing the car in. Can I unplug something and let it reset? It seems like a computer issue....or some kind of switch relay. Maybe I can just buy the part and install it withought going through the hastle.

I just read in another post it could be the fan control module or a blower control module. Is this true? Where is it located?
