In multi-level parking garages my 07 6 spd's brakes make this high pitch squeel (never hear it except in these garages). A couple of times I've taken it up over 100 & stomped on the brakes...multiple times & the squeel subsides for a week or two. But on my 08' automatic....I've never heard this squeel.....

Anybody with an automatic ever heard the squeel?

 

Have a look at the back of the pads, they may be rusted up and not seating, they could be glazed up etc.
Other than that I would advice you to stay out of multi-level parking garages.

 

I always try to keep Fred & Wilma out of the UV......cannot avoid covered parking garages.
