my headlamps seem to be eating headlight bulbs...help!
I have replaced about 10 bulbs this year...any idea what the problem could be? I am not touching the glass, so that is not the issue..it's very annoying and expensive!
That does seem rather high!!!
Are you 100% positive that you're replacing them with the correct bulb? Check your owner's manual & make sure!
Touching any halogen bulb can be very bad so it's good to know you're not doing that! My only other piece of advice would be to clean the bulbs with some rubbing alcohol first, avoid touching them like the plague & then stuff them in.
Might not be a bad idea to do a quick visual check of the wires & the connector & make sure that they aren't pinched or frayed. Make sure the rubber cap is clean & seated properly so no excess moisture can get in there.

Have tested charging system for voltage, with a multi-meter?
You should be running about 14 volts dc.
Hook up the meter and try different rpms, look for a spike in volts.
Just an idea!

There are great install instructions posted on here (I believe from Max) and it is not a difficult install.
