Does anyone kno where i can get a carfax for FREE. Im lookin a subaru sti, i guy has in my town but i can tell its had body work done. his answer when i asked him about it was, it was like that when i bought in. lol Thanks for the help

Check to see if the seller listed the Subaru on cars.com -- premium listings on cars.com include a free Carfax report.

My used XF had been in a minor accident before I bought it, and I found it on the dealer's cars.com listing by clicking on the "free Carfax report" link. I used that info to get a full set of new Contis installed for free!

If you can tell it's had body work ask yourself if it's really worth it. A good price maybe would make the diff but usually body work means early rust.
