Default Bumper damage question ?

I have a Tandem(narrow) 2 car garage and the other day when pulling in I under-shot my turn and ending up scraping the left side of my front bumper. There is no dents , but the paint stripped in a few spots. Best way to describe it is as is wolverine swiped at my front bumper with his claw lol. My deductible is 500 bucks but the other day at my car dealer where i get serviced the guy told me they have a person come in twice a week to work on bumpers and damage on the lot and that he can fix it for about 150 dollars. He said the work is very good and that he does a good job. my service advisor has never lead me wrong and he is very honest. Is bumper damage something that can be fixed reliably for around 150? my car is an 05 aero blue pearl limited coupe. your thoughts???

If there is no dent, you can fix the paint scratch with some touch up paints for just a few bucks. There are a couple threads in this forum talks about different kinds of touch ups, go ahead and do a search.

he said they would have to fill some stuff in which I dont know how to do. but im assuming if they fix it will it look like nothing was damaged i hope so since the aero blue pearl paint is a metallic looking paint and I dont want the bumper to look matte

If your going to keep your car. Save $300.00 labor by taking off your front bumper and reinstalling. Hand the painter your bumper and just pay for light body work and paint job. Do this and you will be happier with yourself. Squirrel Crusher
