So I just moved up to norfolk va from texas because of my squadron getting relocated and it has been interesting just to say the least first about 2 weeks about when i started the move im drivin through texas and decide to stop and buy a red bull well stupid me decided to put it in the pos cup holder. normally not a big deal but those plastic prongs designed to hold the cup in decided to pierce the can mind you i have not opened it yet.... needless to say i now have i nasty discolored ceiling so now i have to see if i can get it reupolstered around here....next last weekend my driverside speaker decided to blow and now makes that fun rattling sound. im planning on keeping the car stock for the most part so i have to track down a speaker at least im an electrician and feel comfortable replacing it once i locate one at least........then the icing on the cake that just gets me steamed is that someone decided to run over my baby while i slept figures too considering i waxed it the day before. i guess thats what insurance is for but i cant stand that someone just ran it over and drove away.... just felt i had to let out some steam

 

That blows, man. Really. This must be hit and run week for the crossfire. There have been a couple of them on the forum lately. There have been alot of conversations on here lately about the difficulty of finding parts (whether that includes interior components like speakers, I dont know) Would be good if you could locate a Crossfire at a salvage yard and find the speaker you need. i'm sure that would be alot easier, cheaper and quicker than ordering new. Hell, Im now going on 6 weeks of waiting for a tube of touch up paint. Many members on here, esp. in the warmer areas, have had good luck having their headliners reupholstered. I'm sure it will go well for you as long as you find a reputable shop. As far as hit and run drivers, I will spare you my rant. I already did that in another post.
