Lord P,

I had similar trouble with insurance had to change from the RAC after quite a few years of using them, bad luck to them. Anyway my car has arrived (Tuesday this week) and is sitting waiting in the dealership with my number plate V6 ACK bolted on. Just waiting for my cover note to arrive then I am off to pick it up on Friday. I drove the demo again on Sunday and felt very at home driving the car.

regards

Your gonna love it, Ive had mine just over a week and I dont want to get out of it. I always take the long way home now cause its just a breeze to drive and it kinda fits you like a glove if you know what I mean. Not to mention the attention it gets, people let you out of junctions just so they can check you out, and it seems good on fuel too Im getting just over 25mpg. But do you know what the best bit is I havnt seen another one on the road yet and Im sure its gonna be like that for a little while at least.ENJOY

Lets hope that the dealers stick to their word and dont start discounting and bringing heaps of them in.
I would hate for it to become a "Belly Button" like the TT.
I still have a little while to wait for mine, SSB 6, but it'll just be a late Christmas present to myself!
Can hardly wait...
Even went and bought a nice, dateless number for it.

Kendodo, I would have come down to Galloway and had a look at the one down there, but the salesman in Perth is an old friend so had to buy through him really!
He would have been really hacked off if I had bought it elsewhere after he has tried to sell me various other marques over the years!

Its for the alarm system, although not mentioned, I used to be an Auto electrician. On some systems pressing the button before you set the alarm turns off the internal ultrasonic detectors.

Not sure about the crossfire?

That's pretty neat. Our US cars do not have this feature.

Finally some guys from the UK. Not getting my car untill April next year. Has any of the scottish guys given this any thought. When the weather turns really bad will the back spoiler work if there is ice on the car? I was thinking of a car cover but, seems that this could damage the paint if the car is dirty.

C3 usa is my plate being American and all.

spolier will not deploy if frozen and you get a warning light, guess you'd just have to be carefull over the legal limit

I have to say that if the weather is that bad that the spoiler has iced up, driving a rear wheel drive car, with 215 horses champing at the bit, might not be such a wise idea anyway!!

Thats why the wife has a car!
