Help - what is this horseshoe shaped icon...
"Out of luck" describes my efforts to get the dang icon to go out!
Icon is on in both cars. What's the trick to get them out?

I was thinking, take the bulb out.
Its been a while since I last checked pressure. Maybe this weekend I'll give it another go.

Because it can easily be 80's during the day, but 40's early in the morning, I've been fighting the d$$n tpms light. Boosted the front and rear tires by 2lbs. Voila - problem disappeared.
Oh, and FWIW, already amazing gas mileage got a slight increase. Wheeee!

tighted - temperature changes will affect tire pressure especially if you use air. I got the light on the first cold night and the first really warm day. I keep mine at 34lbs. About a year ago when I got my wheels put on they switched me over to nitrogen, "its more stable than air and it shouldn't trigger your sensors as much with temp changes". I wish! I still get the light when it gets cold. So I have gone back to plain old air.
Used to put nitogen in aircraft tires
Hmmm. I wonder if helium in the tires would make the car lighter and thus faster!?

just an FYI, the TPMS doesn't change immediately. check all 4, if the light is still on, drive around for a few miles and it will turn off. drove me absolutely crazy before..
Not to jack the thread, but i noticed a reference earlier to nitrogen in the tires. I've got a local place that really tries hard to convince me that I should do that. Now, since the air we breathe is already 78% nitrogen, I'm afraid we are seeing a sales pitch for something that would provide almost zero gain for any normal driving - even normal Crossfire driving.
