Default NA Coupe

I'd love to have a roadster or SRT6......but it seems like they have a lot more problems than the NA coupes over time....or am I just reading too much into some posts?

It seems to me that you might be right with the SRT6, but I don't think that's the case with the roadster with the exception of those having problems with the rear glass separation. Of course it is one more thing that can break.

I think you are reading too much into that. There are only a cople of known issues wtih the SRT such as the intercooler pump and there are good fixes for that. Go for the SRT!

One thing is true: This is a board of actual owners, so you WILL see posts of people having problems. It bothered me for a LONG time... almost took away the joy of having a Crossfire.

But the fact is, those of us who are NOT having problems, don't POST that we are not having problems - so it sometimes seems like all XF's are lemons. Yet, I know several people on here who have reported as many as 90,000 trouble free miles in Coupes, Roadsters and even some SRT's.

I work in a shop that works on MOtorola Radios, been doing this for 29 years - used to think "Damn, Motorola stuff is junk - every radio I see is broke".

Then it was pointed out to me that I am a technician - all I would EVER see is the broke ones! Got me to thinking of the many customers we have who NEVER have a service call - just call us to move radios from truck to truck!

I'ts a problem with perspective, not a problem with the quality of the product, IMO.
