i started a "trend" here on the forum putting stripes on the rocker panels... much more understated, i think, and more suited to the car:

you could search for "rocker stripes," or probably "slasher stripes"... not sure how but theyve adopted this name in the threads.

Not really a "stripe" but offers a similar illusion.

The stripes just aren't working. At least not in my opinion.

Don't stop with the stripes. Upgrade to a fart-can exhaust and some Pep Boys seats, preferably in a fuzzy purple, to match the fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror. Maybe some spinners, too.

I know, I'm bumping an old thread, but... I think some Aero Blue stripes on an Alabaster white car could be really awesome.

13K9 I once thought about doing that, sort of a knock-off of a 65 Shelby Mustang.

Heck, I already have a scoop on the hood.
But I figured that color combo (white&blue) just wouldn't go too well with my cedar/slate interior.

When I special ordered my first Crossfire I pleaded with them to put the Ceder interior in the Aero Blue but they would never do it. If I were you I'd photoshop it first and see what you think. I think it could look really good so long as you don't put the huge stripes like the one posted earlier in this thread.

Actually, I think the best "over the top" racing stripes I've seen on any Crossfire (and the one's closest to looking like a 65 Shelby Mustang) are the "silver" stripes on this car.
