Question 2010 Calendar?

Is the board/club/group going to be doing a 2010 Calendar? Shouldn't we start taking nominations/Pictures soon to get the voting up and done before the new year approaches too quickly?

I volunteer to do what ever is necessary to help!

Doug

Funny you should ask. It is on my list for Oct. 1st board meeting, we should have at least CICCI's info shortly after that. Info being if we are doing one or not.

Tom usually handles the FORUM calendar, is CICCI going to have one as well?

It's in the planning stages. There's a discussion going on about it in the CICCI forum.

Sorry I don't get over to CICCI as much as I should and missed the voting, my bad

If CICCI decides to do 'members only cars', then maybe we can do one for ORG members.

The CICCI members voted to use 'members only cars', but wants to sell them to non-members. If your not allowed to submit your car, then why should you support the project? Sounds like a one way street to me.

Just as in the begining discussions of CICCI, this is one more way to seperate the CICCI members from the ORG members.

James

PS I am a CICCI member but prefer everyone from ORG be involved as well. A lot of ORG members provide constructive information here that eventually will make it over to CICCI.

I'm also a CICCI member and I don't understand why CICCI decided to exclude crossfireforum.org members from entering the calendar competition......This is starting to create a separation that's totally unnecessary IMO.
I personally will not participate or buy a calendar that excludes anyone from entering.
Sorry to see what is happening

I don't understand the division between .ORG and CICCI on the calendar either. I joined the CICCI just last week, but had no idea that such separatist things went on. Huh... May have to think again about renewing next year. :-/

NOTHING IS HAPPENING. There is no riff between the club and .org over the calendar. Tom2112 just posted a thread at CICCI asking if anyone was ionterested in a calendar b/c CICCI did not have a calendar last year. You guys are making a big deal out of nothing and it doesnt help to promote or suggest a difference between club members and .org members. I'm a club member, 'org member and I check .both resources everyday. WE ALL OWN CROSSFIRES and that's the link. I am so tired of the purported separation between .org and the club. WE NEED EACH OTHER and the club was formed based on the interest and participation of .org users, and to let the automotive world know we are a unified group that will not let the Crossfire be ignored. If PT Cruisers, Vipers, Chargers, Neons and Magnums can unite to have ONE STRONG voice why cant/dont we. WE CAN BE The best represented Chrysler product out there if we just stop dividing ourselves. WE ALL SHOULD BE CLUB MEMBERS AND show the other makes and models 'how it's done". I'm sorry, I didnt mean to rant I'm just tired of owners perpetuating that there's a difference between .org and .com. WE LOVE THE CROSSFIRE. PERIOD.

What division? Myself and the other founding board members of CICCI are on this forum everyday and will continue to be on this forum I've been a contributor here since April 06 and I'm also a forum sponsor. Our club members and officers are on here just about everyday. Between myself and another founding board member we have over 11,500 posts so where is this division?

If and when a calendar or calendars are printed they will be offered to everyone, so where is the division?

Andrew worked out a great discount for Lloyd custome mats that you can buy with the CICCI logo, just the Chrysler logo or the Crossfire lettering which was offered to the club members as well as none members here on this forum, so again where is the division?

You know there is a club that goes by AAA that has some great discounts and member benefits, but just because I drive a car doesn't entitle me to the members discounts and benefits. so if this is what you call a division you may be right.

Where is the division? The contest is only open to CICCI members, you don't see that as a division? Come on now be real!

It was just a poll Tom submitted for opinions.....Let's not make more of it than it is. It's a discussion that started there, to discuss the option of having one or two calendars. So please post your opinion there as well.

This is not a CICCI project. It's Tom's project. This will be his third year doing it.

Thats my point so why is it that CICCI wants to exclude ORG members from entering the contest? WE NEED EACH OTHER, you said it. When you exclude people that used to be a part of an event, that is SEPERATION no matter how you try to justify it.

I suggest the contest take place at ORG as always , and if you are a member of CICCI and win a month, you can have the CICCI logo put on your picture - optional.

If we in the CICCI don't have a members only thing going on what is the use of being a member of CICCI, as a member we CAN and SHOULD have our own thing, that is what is part of being a part of a particular club is! There has to be a reason to be in the CICCI... I Love this group and if we are going to grow as a group there has to be an advantage, plain and simple. That being said it is to make this Club stronger!

CICCI is the definitive group that represents and strives to put the Crossfire in the forefront. I wish everyone on the .org would join the CICCI so we can only get stronger! We in the CICCI are getting stronger eveyday and others are beginning to take notice of this club. All Crossfire owners should join in this club and make it as strong as it can be.
