Talking New Member...

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have the honor to introduce one of our newest members to the forum and to XFire Stewardship.

My wife, DC Xfire (Diane) and her "new" 2005 Alabaster Limited Roadster, Angel.

Angel has 37,000 miles on her, the interior is superb for being this old (just a very small amount of wear on the stearing wheel and around the ignition switch). A few, but minor, rock chips that have been touched up so-so. Decent amount of tires left, won't have to do those soon. Engine hums like a fine German clock, idles well even under A/C load. Engine area was a little oily, so I gave it a good spray down this morning, we'll see how long (if at all) the oil comes back. Acceleration felt good for an auto, the Auto Stick will take a little time to learn how to finesse. Top works very smooth, glass is tight, canvas looks well maintained. The wheels were recently chrome plated out in California, look great, even up close. All in all, a gem of a find!

As much as I love my SSB....that alabaster roadster with chrome wheels makes me SMILE! That was my 1st choice when I was looking to buy, but no such luck finding one on this side of the US.

Congrats and welcome!

WELCOME Diane!

Looking forward to "seeing" you on the forum!

I like the chrome wheels also! Might have to get them when my wife finally gets a Crossfire!

Looks great Terry & Diane! Congrats! Those two-tone white interiors are the best looking. When I started my quest for a Crossfire, that's what I wanted.

That white on white combo looks great. You could get the steering wheel dyed white again and it would be as good as new. Great looking ride, congratulations.

Morning all,
Thanks for the great welcome! No wonder Smfrycruzr likes this forum.
FP, I logged in and voted for your car. Glad to help.
Racehorse, glad that your dash kit came out good. Post some pic when you can.
We are on vacation this week, and have been driving here and there and everywhere in my Angel. I think I'm in love!!!!!!
My boss wants to borrow her, but I think NOT!!!!
Our office is full of Strong Beautiful Women, and Angel is just the right message to send.
Gotta Go now, Angel is calling!

You know, I sitll like my REd Roadster with Dark/Medium Slate interior, BUT....

That White on White (ok, I guess the interior is Vanilla ) really looks (as I said in the other thread) "rich" and I don't mean as in money (well, maybe I do) but in 'depth' or 'character'.

I cant get over how DIFFERENT the car looks with that Vanilla interior.

So, is the top Black? (Anyone: Are they ALL black?)
