Engine won't start!!!
I am sorry if this is repost but I tried to search under "engine" and nothing came up. I been having a problem on and off to start the engine. 1st time when this happened, I didn't hear any clicking or nothing when I turn the key. I called the triple A and when the tow person came, he played around with my car little and he was able to start my car. He said my gear was not on P. So I was like wow, that was dumb mistake. After this incident happened, my car had same problem about 2 or 3 times within a month period. Evrytime this happend, I just let the car sit for about 30 min and try to start the car and it always started. Just right now, I tried to start my car and now I hear clicking sound(engine at least tries to start now) but that's it. I just keep hear click click click and nothing happens. I try to turn the radio on to see if it's battery and radio is playing fine. Did anyone ever had same problem before?? what could be wrong with my car?? please help!!!! thanks in advance guys.

dcspride. When you get a replacement I'll take your old relay control module off of yer hands for ya. I am trying to find out exactly what it is that is going wrong with the RCMs so we can fix instead of replace($$$) then.
Thanks for considering.

Meanwhile if the car stalls again open the hood and on the passenger side right next to the battery is a black plastic box. If you open the box (by sliding the tabs located on the top of the box) you will see a couple of circuit cards closest to the battery side and then there's a smaller black plastic case that is on the engine side of the box (furthest from the battery side.). This is the relay control module. Smack it around a little and try to restart the car. Might work, might not.
Let us know.

So far I haven't had the problem on either of my cars. That's why I'm hoping to get a bad one to check out and see what it is that is failing so we can stop buying them and just fix them. Will save folks some $$$.

I had the same problem with the RCM about two months ago and finally decided to reflow a few of the solder contacts and havent had a problem since. There's a thread somewhere which has pics of a few of the problem contacts.
tighed1,
I have an important question for ya. I just got my Crankshaft Position Sensor replaced, as I am aware that this is a solution to the problem of the Crossfire dying while driving. However, can the Relay Control Module also be the problem for that or is the RCM the problem strictly when the car can't start? Thanks!
-Sam
P.S.: The guy told me I should also get the Cam Sensor replaced. Has anybody done this?

Relay no workie, car no workie.
I have only owned my 2005 limited coupe for 6or7 months, so I am by no means an expert on this (no start thread,) I will just tell you all of a similar problem I had a few times,
I am sure this is not what is going on with most of the starting problems out there, but might be the reason a few folks are experiencing trouble starting,
I have noticed a few times, when dropping my wife off at the store, and shutting engine off, then after deciding to move my car, ignition seemed to lock up, and would not start. After I removed the key, and tried again, it started right up.
I think that has something to do with the anti-theft thing with the key not starting after being shut off for a short time.
Just something I am throwing out there, im sure it is not the reason most of you are having trouble.

Well I have the "Car won't Start" syndrome but I need some help with my dealer. There are no codes so the dealer is saying there is justification to change the remote control module. Can anyone give me a section in the service manual that talks to this issue? Thanks.

You say that there are no codes so the dealer says, ...there is justification...". Did you mean "there isn't justification?"
