Debadged Crossfire Spotted In San Antonio
I saw a black coupe (with silver trim so it was a limited) in the parking lot at the Quarry on Saturday afternoon. It was debadged... makes me wonder if it was someone here. There was a time I thought about debadging my car... but I love seeing the Crossfire letters on the back.
I drove a base black coupe 6 speed a few days before Deb Walker found my car for me. No Chrome trim, cloth seats, 35,000 miles - $15,000 !
(I really just went up there to drive a 6 speed... I knew better.)

I have the Base Coupe... and now that I think of it, I haven't seen that many of them over the years. I only see the 2-tone limited models.
I picked the base because in 2005 they were a few grand cheaper.... but it was everything I wanted anyway! I wanted a Black coupe, standard and no leather seats. I wasn't a fan of power or heated seats because I live in the deep south of Texas.... leather seats get hot and crack and who needs heated power seats down here (give me AC seats and I will be happy). Just another electronic thing to break!
Not to mention, I loved the look of all black. So the base coupe was the perfect fit for me. Had the car over 4 years now and still love it. Drove it everyday and put 55K miles on it.
