Well I don't have my owners manual or I would have checked it first. I also cannot come up with anything via Google. On the right side of my dash I had a yellow light come on today while driving in the rain. Now the odd thing is, it goes off when I turn my headlights off and is only illuminated when the headlights are on.

I have shut the car off, started it back up, and then turned my headlights on and the light has remained on.

Unfortunately I am on the OSU campus right now and don't have access to my camera, but it almost looks like an upside down lightbulb with rays of light coming out all around it with an exclamation point in the middle.

What is it?

Could this be a tire pressure sensor? Maybe the pressure is down a little. Not sure.

 

Actually... I am 99% sure it is the low tire pressure warning. It could be just a few lbs low.

 

Sounds like the Tire Pressure Warning light to me. It's yellow, on the right, has an exclamation point in it AND it is shaped just like you are describing.

Mine went one one day and my tires read: 38, 33, 32 and 24 !

Leveled them all at around 34 and no light since.

Which is why it only comes on when the lights are on. Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Sure SOUNDS like the TPS - but I'v never SEEN my light failure, ah, light. )

TPMS warning light is on the top LEFT of the dash. I know, mine has been on for the last two years and I have not applied the black electrical tape fix yet.

 

You have a bulb out.

Oh, do we have four tire pressure lights???? one for each tire????? I always thought there was just the one light on the left side for that??? Inform please!!!

Yes, you're right there's only one light for all four wheels.

 

As I said before... it sounds like a low pressure tire light. Check the manual to be sure.

My low pressure tire light, located in the upper left comes on when the temp. outside is below 40, but goes out when tires get warmed up. Pressures check above 32. Downloaded survice manual, thanks, have been looking for one.

 

AS I ALREADY POSTED. ISSUE RESOLVED!

It was the Exterior Bulb Failure light. I downloaded the owners manual from the link posted here and that was the light that is illuminated.

I actually had a low tire light last week. I brought all my tires (which were a little low) up to proper pressure and the light immediately went off after turning off the ignition and restarting.
