Default Coupe vs. Roadster Car Cover

Deb Walker bought a car cover for her Coupe from Sandler Trust Wholesale - CLICK HERE! on eBay. She said it fit, but not as well as she hoped for.

I ordered one too, for my Roadster. Deb predicted it would fit better on my car than hers.

She was right, fit's like a glove. Unknown if they will have any more.

$39.99 plus about $15 shipping.

EDIT: There is no opening for the antenna on the Roadster. I found that my antenna unscrewed easily - the mount is still there, bu the mast/whip came off without tools.

This has been covered many times and I need to go back and look... but I was just wondering the same thing. I need a thick car cover for my coupe and want one that fits well. Not too tight but not too loose. Wind is not an issue because I will use it in the garage. I want something that will help prevent dings and scratches while sitting in the garage.

They need to make a dust cover for our cars. I dont like how tight the car covers are.

It looks like the car covers I purchased at Walmart for $29-39. A couple had vents, one did not. They are used in the garage and serve their purpose of keeping dust/debris off the car. My next door neighbor has an official XF fitted cover with see-thru plastic for the rear license plate and fitted pockets for the mirrors. Fits like a glove, but his XF is no cleaner than mine and his cost over $200.

I just bought a custom fit dustop cover. Supposed to be a great cover. Hopefully this will do the job.

That cover fits like an old bed sheet, the Mopar cover fits like a glove. Mind you at the price it costs it should.
It would be nice if it was a bit thicker and a little softer. In a week or so it will be in use again for five months.

Just curious, is the little window for the license plate to be sure you don't uncover the wrong Crossfire ?

As rediculous as it sounds, some members might actually use it for just that very reason. Real reason though is for if you have it on a street with the cover on. Most states require a visible plate if it's on a public road, i.e. parked on the street.

Its so tight that when you try to fit it over the car, you actually feel like OJ.

Looks good on the surface, but presumably it needs air to be pumped in to keep it up. In humid climates it will soon look like you have created a miniature rain forest eco-system. Then you use a dehumidifier and the ozone from the electric motor eats the rubber.
I still want one though so I can start the seeds for the garden in the early spring.
