Hey, I didn't know the Crossfire did this...
Yesterday while driving on some roads with wet leaves on the surface, I put the pedal down hard as I sometimes do and the rear wheels spun on the slippery surface. What I didn't know, and know now, is that when the traction control kicks in, the icon on the instrument panel lights up.......
Had the car for almost eight months and am still learning stuff.....

If that light doesn't come on at least a couple of times a day, yer not driving it right!
I'm surprised mine hasn't burned out yet.

Did you also know that when you have your windshield wipers on high and stop at a stop sign the wipers slow down

My favorite trick has to do with the 6-speed manual transmission and cruise control. You can switch gears without turning off cruise control and it resumes as soon as you take your foot off the clutch. How cool is that!!!

Tony, I hate to say it, but if it took you 8 months to engage the TC for the first time, and it was wet, you are not having as much fun in your XF as you should be

The traction control light serves two other purposes:
1. Let's you know when you're having fun.
2. Let's you know you're going to need new tires soon.

I know its hard to believe, but don't assume a Volvo is slow....they are sleepers and I won't even begin talking about the "R" models which would blow a SRT Crossfire away at the start line.
BTW, check out http://www.canadianvolvoclub.org/Ima...es/701_png.htm for a look at my other toy.....

Is there another "R" model?
