i have a magnaflow cat back exhaust. what i wanna do is get custom pipeing off the headers to the start of the cat back. elminateing the cats,ect. will this be a good move on a n/a motor if so what kind of difference?

 

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 45037. Also some of the forum sponsors selling magnaflow usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great cat, sounds great, and very easy to install.

 

I have the Maganaflow too. I think I read here that for the cost involved of doing what you are talking about the gain in HP is negligible. Check the tech section of the forum, I'm almost sure there is a thread about this. In the meantime enjoy yours, I know I am mine.

 

I have the magnaflow as well, and from what I understand, as Pat says, the gains would be negligible and I am not sure about the sound, but it may be somewhat louder, maybe you want it louder, maybe not....
