Visible Car ... Invisible Driver!
Yesterday, I was driving west on the Dulles Toll Road in Northern Virginia, after my very smooth, 5-minute radio swap-out (VIN 000932) at Koons Chrysler in Tysons Corner, when I noticed a black sedan pacing me on the right. I looked over and saw the driver smile and give me a big "thumbs up" (which I still get several times a week). As I politely waved back, I recognized the driver as a co-worker that I had not seen in several years as we had both moved to different office locations. Try as I might to get him to recognize me, all he would focus on was the car.
I sent him an e-mail when I got home and got the following response: "Jim, THAT WAS YOU?!?!? Sorry, You must excuse me, I wasn't looking at the driver, but at your beautiful car!"
It was a nice way to finish off the day when I had the only complaint I had with the car fixed.
Happy Holidays!
