Default What do you consider a reasonable repair time

After you drop off your Crossfire for a repair that needs to be found by the technician/repair shop, how long do you believe it should take them to notify you with any information about what repairs need to be done. Starting from the time they begin. A day, two, three, one week, etc.

Well it all depends on what your repair is, is it easy ? or is it intermitent ? or is it mechanical ? the list goes on, then it depends on the technician working on your car, have they seen this problem before ? or is this another learning experience for the tech ? then what is their work load like, are they busy or slow ? and remember there is usally only one xfire tech per dealer, so a day, two, three, a week ??????

Thanks for your input.I see your point. Well said. I guess i am just impatient and the fact that I am paying for a rental car just compounds the issue. My car is also my daily driver not a garage queen.
