Nice, I'd much rather have that than an audi tt roadster, and maybe even a 350Z roadster. Once again, nice.

Personally, I think the 350z is the ugliest convertible I have seen in a long time. With the top up, it makes me want to cry.

Where'd you find that pic?
Is there a pic with the top up?

It isn't fixed. The SRT-6 versions will be fixed.

Do you think they'll put special SRT-6 badging on the crossfire? That would be especially sweet.

You know it has a striking resemblance to the Viper SRT-10 with its top up, very nice.

sorry but i think the removal of the roof detracts from the car and makes it more ordinary hardtop for me anyway thanks

Did you take those pictures at the auto show? The blue/cream combination looks pretty good!

Obviously everyone will have their own opinions, but Chrysler IS in the business of making money. The Crossfire Roadster I'm sure cost much less R&D money than making a normal coupe a convertible, since the platform is meant for a convertible anyway (SLK). Plus the target demographic for the Crossfire is people 35-50 who are looking for a weekend/2nd sports/touring car. Many of those people want to have a convertible as their second weekend car, so there is a large market there. I for one thik they did a really good job with the convertible from what I've seen, and they stayed true to the Crossfire shape and design. I think it's going to be a huge hit.

Check out http://www.autoweek.com/specials/2004_detroit/index.mv to see pics of the Crossfire roadster at the unveiling in Detroit... You'll also notice it's painted in the new blue metallic with a black/cream interior, not bad!

I think the roadster looks pretty good, but personally I favor the coupe. It's the original. But I could see the roadster eventually outselling the coupe in the next few years. It gives everyone yet another excuse to buy a 2-seater!
