Default Sunroof on 2005 coupe!

I was surfing e-bay and found a 2005 coupe with a sunroof. It's being sold in Nashville,Tn. Current price is $7600 with 61k milage. I personally don't like the sunroof look, but wondered if this was ever a factory option or a custom job? Never saw one like this before.

A sunroof is one thing I miss having on this car. I just don't have it in me to cut a big hole in the roof.

Yeah - the roof line really does not allow for it - look at that rear veiw pic, looks pretty bad.
The interior also looks unfinished.

The sunroof looks like it was mounted too far back also. I guess it looks better than the coupe that some idiot cut the top off to make a convertible.

I don't like the look of this sun roof, but I really wish Chrysler had come up with a way to put a sun roof on the XF. It feels very closed up without one, it would be really nice to have one!

Who would do such a thing? THe car isnt built to handle the loss of body structural ingegrity without the roof.

Wow that is truly a lot of work for nothing.

I emailed the owner when it was for sale on Ebay to find out the history. It is a 2004 (before Chrysler came out with the roadster). She said the dealer did the mod when it was brand new.
