Default Chrysler/Dealership Employees

I was wondering if anyone can find out some info on when the Mopar premium Crossfire mats are going to ship. My dealer can't seem to get any information on when they will be shipping, and I have a number of orders for them that I am waiting on. The found some information last month that they would be available in January, but they still haven't shipped. Can anyone help?

How can they not find anyone to make them? Who makes the stock mats for the Crossfire? The thing that annoys me is that Mopar claimed they would be available in October, and now it's January and they still don't even have a ship date. They shouldn't even be listed in the computer if they don't even have anyone to make them yet.

Floor Mats?

Hi, I'm the Marketing Manager for Crossfire Accessories here at Mopar. Your right, we were suppose to have them by October. A couple of things delayed inventory. One, there was a slight change to the floor pan after we were in production which caused us to go back and modify the mat. Secondly, these are made by a German supplier and we had them ship 140 by airfrieght. Customs has to inspect them and then to make matters worse, they were lost in transit. I know for a fact that we have 194 sets sitting in our depot now,so if you ordered a set, you should see them shortly.
Part Number is 82208249.

Please keep in mind that I have no control over production issues, but if you have an accessory question or suggestion, let me know and I'll help the best I can.

As I stated. I only handle the accessories for Mopar. We have various other departments that handle service parts, sheet metal, performance, etc. However, I will pass along your inquiry regarding the tires and post a response.

All this talk of mats is crazy. Hears what you gotta do. You buy your xfire brand new then you drive over to k mart or wall mart or target and you pick your self up a set of those nice heavy *** rubber black mat's you know the kind with the half inch deep rim that goes around the whole mat so water or road cinders can't escape. They even come with a little excess rubber so you can cut them down to fit the floor exactly Then low and behold you place them over the original floor mat's and...wahla! a protected floor that looks great. And there will be no nasty *** smells associated with the debris you happen to pick up and leave on your factory mat's . Remember protecting the floor of your new car is top priorty because its only new once. I am a New car salesman at at the largest Chrysler dealership in the USA and i have seen them on porsch's, mercedes, and jaguars and believe me fellow xfire owner's if you plan to really drive your car more than just sunday after church, then you better take my advice when it cones to mat's and that goes for your kid's nissan sentra or your grandfathers 500s mercedes it's well worth the 20 buck's and your car will smell like new forever.

Sorry bobby n, I had my 300M with orginal "FLOOR MATS" for 96000 miles. Mine were in get shape when I sold the car. If you take care of your "CAR", as I was taught by my dad, everything will last a long time. :P

Ive had numerous guest in my car and no one has ever mentioned the floor. However since i am a sales mgr. of Reedman Chyrsler Langhorne Pa. I will be glad to ship out new sets of mats at our cost to you guys but that still ain't gonna be cheep. You boy's must have money fallen out your butts and love to vacume and vacume and vacume. What does your driver side mat look like with that nasty heel dig out mark by the gas pedel ? mine look's great. Bobby n

Any car will stay looking and smelling new with just a little ordinary care. And you can enjoy the way the car was designed to look without hiding it behind rubber.

My grandmother covered her couch and chairs in plastic to preserve them. They looked like crap, but they were just like new under all that plastic. Maybe covering our leather seats in plastic will preserve them too.

Does Chrysler intend to put this stuff on the Chrysler web site under accessories? Or do we have to go into the dealer to order them?

Thanks,
