I have got a feeling that this might have been brought up before, but I can't find the thread anywhere, so will pop the question again.

Does anybody out there have any idea what the little red light is up by the interior light cluster??
It's nothing to do with the programable garage door opening transceiver, that sits just forward of the light cluster, but there is no mention of it in the the hand book at all.
It looks like the little call light above an airline seat??

I have pressed it a couple of times now, and the little red light comes on ...... then goes out...... but not sign of a trolly dolly with refreshments as yet!!!

Somebody put me out of my misery and tell me what it is...... PLEASE! :?

 

I think its alarm related and switches off the interior sensors, incase you leave the er....dog in the car? erm ok maybe not but i think thats its function

 

Hmmm,
Sounds feesable, but it's not mentioned along with the disabling switch for the tow- away function in the handbook.

Perhaps it's the "UK luggage ordering switch"

 

definetly turns off the interior motion sensors.

tow away switch is on the console.
