Window fitment problem
So I go to my local Chrysler Dealership as I seem to have a minor problem with the Crossfire. Since purchase I have had a persistent wind noise issue. Today was the first time I have had the chance to actually look at the window and door under day light and get to the dealership. The moment I said I have a question regarding a Crossfire a tech scampered off and the service manager gave me a look as if I had just said lets eat cyanide and see what happens.Ugg its rather frustrating to deal with the dealerships at times, rather almost all the time.
So here is my actual problem, the windows are not seating correctly into the seals. I have pronounced wind noise from the mirror and from behind the driver/passenger area. On the driver side the window at about 1/8 of the way up begins to track on the outside of the seal rather on the inside. This results in a small but very noticeable and worrisome gap at the top of the window. The passenger side I can notice the improper tracking from the side view mirror. Does anyone have any ideas of suggestions as to a correction for the problem. Additionally I dropped max care and went to the 4 year unlimited mileage warranty b/c I use my car in the field on a weekly basis (a coworker put 30,000 miles on his car last year).
I will also post this thread in the coupe area.
Best regards and Merry Christmas
Jason

I have a noise coming from the passenger side window because the window does not keep close to the seal on its travel to the top.
The fix is to remove the door liner and adjust the window mounting mechanism, to make the glass have more lean in at the top.
This is not too big a deal, go to the shop manual and the procedure is laid out. If you read the TSB's there are one or two on this issue and one of them gives dimensions to use.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have the power train warranty but not the max care, work decision. I have been in contact with the previous dealer regarding my car. It was sold as a CPO, however one of the right front brake caliper mounting bolts was not installed and caused me to be down a car. Also the window issue which has a TSB on it and the transmission fluid cover was MIA. I am not too pleased because the dealership should be fixing the window, but I have a feeling I am stuck worse than a pig over a fire pit.
