From aftermarket stereo to stock stereo?
Ok, something really bugs me about my car which is the aftermarket stereo (Kenwood). It is black in the middle of a nice silver console. I seriously want to put a stock stereo back on there but since I am new to these cars, i dont even know where to start.
1- anybody willing to trade headunits? I can get the exact model / name of mine for you and if mine is cheaper then i would be willing to pay a little cash on top. If mine is more expensive, you get a deal because all i want is stock headunit.
2-how do I know if stock unit would plug right back in? how to tell if the person who installed the headunit, didnt chop some wires, etc.?
This is really bugging me, I want stock headunit, i want that nice full silver look.
thanks!
Here are a couple pics of my stereo(cell phone pics so not the best):

The wiring is all spelled out in the repair manual and should be easy to figure out, OEM nav units cost more of course.
Thanks a lot! I do not have Ipod and I do have a similar connector to listen some musics from my cellhone which is like ipod (xpressmusic 5660 Nokia). I just want that silver look on my console, thats it.
I added pics by the way.
add: Ebay only has two and they are not limited, they are basic model stereos

If I didn't have NAV I would get rid of it.
Worst sounding stereo I have ever heard for a $48000 car.
Or a $10000 car for that matter.
