Snow Sucks
Thank God, in Virginia Beach it will be gone in a day or 2. Until it's gone, it's just me and the Explorer....
I don't know how you folks up north deal with it. The Crossfire has only been confined to the garage for 12 hours now and I'm going through withdrawl.

Not true, kind of.
You can get 18" snow tires in the stock size from several different manufacturers. The problem is that they do not make 19" snow tires, so you will have to buy two more 18" wheels for the rear. That is what is recommended in the Crossfire manual. If you buy the wheels new, it will cost you about $400 for each wheel. Do a search on ebay for crossfire wheel. You will find that you can buy all four wheels slightly used but in perfect condition for around $600.00. That is what I did and now I have two spare 19" wheels. Then you buy and install four snow tires and put some weight in your trunk and you are good to go.
The other option is to go with smaller wheels. This will save you some money, because the tires are less expensive. You can check out the deals at tirerack.com.
I just preferred the look of the stock wheels.
I am having no problem getting around with this setup.
Hope this helps.

Look @ my album and check out the autocross pictures and you'll see why I'm glad I got the pilots. (They were already on the car.... Thank God.... and Traction)!!!
