I noticed some of you members have two slasher stripes on the panel underneath your door. Where did you find these. Also would like to purchase two karmann badges if anyone has a couple of extras. I have had my car debadged so if anyone need the C-R-O-S-S-F-I-R-E emblems I would be willing to trade.

 

The slasher stripes are available for sale at the CICCI store. You would need to become a CICCI member to order them.

 

Correct bmorgan... Slasher Stripes are available in the CICCI Club Store.

As far as the Karmann Badges, you have to try and send Karmann a letter to see if you can still get them. I don't know if they are following up on the requests any more.

 

Karmann never responded to a letter I wrote them several months ago. The only other place I have seen them for sale is here: 3D-Decals - KARMANN Logo Badge 3D Decals Sticker / Chrysler VW. Hope this helps.

By the way, TBird is the one responsible for the slasher stripes, and has done an outstanding job with them. In the CICCI store, you just select your car color from a dropdown list and the recommended color combination of the slasher stripes is displayed for you. These are a top quality product that I highly recommend.

i emailed tbird asking for the slasher stripes for my slk32. never got a response. guess being a true amg doesnt qualify!!

Someone posted very recently that Karmann has started sending out the emblems again. Try sending them an email mentioning how much you like your Crossfire and hopefully you'll find a package of goodies in your mailbox within about a month.

 

Usually within 24 hours from the time you submit your app you will be invoiced and then within a day or two you will receive a email at your email address with a password to use for your first time logging in.
