anybody got the itch to get their Cross out?
Mine's been in storage at my mother in law's garage on the farm since Thanksgiving, and I've started telling my wife that i really miss my baby, fantasizing about going down to visit my MIL and maybe taking the car out for a spin. Anybody else starting to look dewy-eyed when they think about it stored away, alone, in a dark garage somewhere, and you know, she just wondering why you haven't come for her? or am I the only crazy one out there? Sigh....
I constantly get the itching. Colorado usually has days in winter where it gets up to 55-60. Today was 45 and the roads were clear, so I took the car out for a spin, but no top down (but tempting).

Quite the opposite for me too. Mines a work horse and gets used everyday. I'm looking forward to the day I can put it into hibernation just for a day to service it and wash off all the winter grime.
It's plenty cold out, but I gotta drive it today. We are going to L.A. for a week and don't plan on renting a Crossfire. I feel for those that don't get to drive their cars for an extended period of time. It's one of my pleasures and hate the fact that it's gonna be a week of boring rental car. (Mustang convertible at least)
Hi Mark, I got my baby out yesterday - drove it up to Coon Rapids and back. Dry highway all the way. I'm taking it up to Elk River today. Hopefully we'll see you and some of the other Minnesotans in St. Louis this summer. My wife and I have our room booked!
I put mine to bed last winter. This year I'm taking her out on dry roads. It sat mosy of January, but I did get it out yesterday. Cold but dry.
Good luck to all of you in Mid Atlantic. The sorm went south of us and I hear it's a monster.

I itch to take my out every morning and let her run....
unfortunately I only get to take her on her short commute to work. Not nearly as fun.

Actually I had mine out last evening for a few hours. Its been about a month and a 1/2 since it was started last. Temperature was in the high 20s, but the roads were free of salt. Stopped by the self service car wash and blew the dust off of it. James

I wanted to get to StL this year, but have other trips we need to take, and money's tight this year for a variety of reasons, so we'll just have to wait until the next one.
