Default Can someone time this video?

Ok I do a lot of acceleration videos of the xf, heres my latest one, 0-95. If someone can just time it for me that would be great!

it is almost impossible to get an accurate timing with a stopwatch on hand. this isnt a 1.5 mile run, where a couple seconds don't count. You need every tenth...

However, i got 12.28 seconds with my stopwatch.

Go to a track before you get in trouble, stopwatch numbers don't matter anyway... especially when you start from 5mph.

What these cars are capable of is pretty obvious. Take it to track and find out and have fun at the same time

I will take her to drag strip to get my slip at the end of march or beggining of april. mid 14s or bust

People just dont think they are as fast as they are, 5 to 95 in 12 seconds IS fast, but the only track near me is a 1/8 mile not 1/4, and its an hour away. Later this year I hope to take it to an actual track to race. But 5 to 95 in 12 is fast

almost as fast as my hhr.

a 1/8 mile track is more fun and safer than doing it on the streets and you get those dandy timeslips too that show you what you really run.

i counted 14 seconds, the video is 19 seconds long, you take off at 4 seconds and stop accelerating at 18 seconds. 19-5=14

just a tune for $300, ran a 14.1 with a set of 4 tires/wheels and luggage/shopping bags in the back.

what do you have done to your crossfire?

be careful out there, watch out for speeding tickets. they are getting bad with the radar everywhere now.

fast depends on the person. for some people a stock civic is damn fast. To me, a 14 second car is just slow. But i did not buy this car for that, it is ton of fun in another areas for me.

yeah, if it was a regular hhr it would have ran a 17 lol.

2005crossfire6speed, if you are fortunate enough to have a track within 1 hr of where you live you really need to go, it is MUCH more fun than trying to time yourself on the street to see how fast your car is. Give it a shot, you will love it.

Plus you can take videos without having them held agaisnt you as evidence lol... And the numbers you will get should be better than the street stopwatch numbers because the track should be nice and sticky with traction compound. I wasn't trying to be a ****, you will get in a ton of trouble by going close to 100 and filming it.. You'll lose your license and possibly your car.

i dont understand what is the big deal here. i have been to tracks and raced my cars hundreds of hundreds times and the closest track to me is 95miles away. another one about 130 or so miles away. I always cruised there with friends and loved every bit of it.

Well, there is rt 66 drag strip here which i WILL NOT go due to high entry fees and CRAZY tech. i couldnt run a 13 second car because it didnt have a drive shaft safety loop, and bunch of other NHRA BS. soi do not consider that as a track.
