Chris, was he driving Fred ? Was your son hurt much ?
No he was still driving a Pontiac Sunfire GT that I bought him brand new back in 1995!!!!! As hard as it is to believe that stupid little car had never had any significant issues.....
It wasn't worth anything so it's no big loss....he's pretty bruised up .....but lucky to be alive!!!! The whole passenger side was caved in about 1-2 feet.....total loss....well not total....the tow charge was $140.....but he sold it today to a salvage place for $200.....so he made $60 off the deal.
He hadn't paid collision insurance for about 10 years ....so since the Kelly Blue book was <$2K.....I figure he came out ahead over time.
Uncertain if he can squeeze the other guys insurance for any compensation...he says he had a green arrow & the other guy ran a red.
No witnesses, the giant meat truck had no damage.
Anyway, he's going to drive the HHR for awhile & Jan will just have to drive Wilma

I've explained the ZERO scratch tolerance policy to her!!!
Maybe that kind of pressure is why she almost never drove it before...maybe I should lighten up.....it was only $17K.

Just received videos from daughter in Hawaii......told her she's missing all the fun....it was 1.4F here in KC when I woke up this morning...
Speaking of cheap tires.....I was stunned how cheap you can find a set of all seasons on Tire-easy.com that will work for this car.....you can get W rated fronts for $60 each ....even a 275/30/19 on there for $128...
Oh, Brad.....congrats to Tennessee for having been the only team so far to beat the Kansas Jayhawks....I don't hold it against you personally though.

I have these on my Crossfire now and they are great for winter - but I can not wait for the spring when I can put the Pilots back on. They are "OK" on dry roads - but there is a noticeable loss of handling, not nearly as much fun.
